When I learned that pine nuts came from pine cones, it blew my mind. What a fun fact. I never would've guessed. So why are they so expensive? I'll tell you now. The process for removing them is actually very difficult and labor intensive. This is the kind of thing that should seem obvious, but you just don't link the two in your head. Pesto and pine trees?? Ma'am what?? Anyways I shared this fact on my Instagram and polled how many people knew this fact too and the majority were also unaware!
What I'm saying is that this tote bag is a conversation starter. It's a public service announcement. Strangers will stare at you in coffee shops and bookstores and think, "Wow. I didn't know that." They will discreetly open their phones to Google it and find that it's true, and maybe they'll share this fact when they meet up with their friends later.
Does it have anything to do with my astrology meme account? No. But I'm a Gemini and I live for trivia. I don't care if a single person buys this tote. Sometimes we commission things we love simply because we want them ourselves.
